January 1st - Stop Winter/Start Heavier Spring Items/Start Prom
What that means:  No longer accepting heavy coats, winter sweaters, and cordoroy.  Will continue to accept light to mid-weight jackets & sweaters in Spring colors.  Begin bringing in your formals for Prom season & don't forget to let us know if you would like to donate your dress to Once Upon A Prom.
Colors to focus on:  Pastels & Lighter Colors

February 1st - Stop Heavy Spring/Start Light Spring
What that means:  No longer accepting heavy Spring sweaters or mid-weight jackets.  Will continue to accept light-weight jackets (including denim) for the rest of the year.  Although we accept short sleeves & long sleeves year round, we will begin our focus on Spring colors for these items.  We will also begin accepting Capris.
Colors to focus on:  Pastels & Lighter Colors

April 1st - Stop Spring/Start Summer/Stop Prom
What that means:  Our focus shifts towards short sleeves, sleeveless, tanks, halter tops, and shorts in brighter colors.  We will also accept swimwear if the tags are still on the garments & they have never been worn.  Although we are no longer accepting Promwear, it's a great time to bring in formals that can be worn for pageants or cruises.
Colors to focus on:  Bright & Bold

August 1st - Stop Summer/Start Fall
What that means:  We will no longer accept shorts, halter tops, and extreme "summery" type items.  Our focus shifts towards back-to-school & we begin looking for lighter Fall items including lighter sweaters & light to mid-weight jackets.  We will continue to take capris & shorts you can layer with tights(for a couple more weeks), short sleeves, light long sleeves, and sleeveless items (although our focus will shift towards items you can layer).  We will continue to take formals that can be worn on cruises as well as Homecoming & Fall Formals (think straighter & not as poofy).
Colors to focus on:  Earthtones

August 15th - Stop Capris & Shorts

October 1st - Stop Fall/Start Winter
What this means:  We are transitioning into full winter wear with heavier sweaters, coats, furs, and cords.  We will also accept formals that can be worn for Christmas and New Year parties.
Colors to focus on:  Jewel-tones
